Sydney – Chinatown Friday Night Market

Every Friday night from 4pm on, there is a night market on Sussex street in Sydney’s Chinatown. The street is lined with vnedors selling jewelry, trinkets and handmade items, as well as food – lots of food!

I arrived a little before 5pm, so before it got busy! While there were people looking at the items for sale, it really did seem like everyone was coming for the food!

I even tried something new – Dragon Beard Candy – it reminded me a little of mochi, but with a lot more texture!
Because there was limited seating at the market, I stopped at a restaurant at the end of the street for dinner – Arisun Chinatown – and had some delicious Korean fried chicken!

The Chinatown Night Market is well worth a visit if you are in Sydney on a Friday night, the food options will have you drooling and the people watching can’t be beat!
