Sydney – Paddy’s Market

Paddy’s Market (Haymarket), located right next to Chinatown, it is a traditional market offering tourist souvenirs, imported and local women’s fashion, kids clothes, hair accessories, jewellery as well as gifts, gadgets, and lots more. It is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Although my pictures don’t show it, the fruits and veggies tended to be more exotic than other markets with durian, longon, and passionfruit at nearly every stall.

The market is on the ground floor, above the market is Market City a shopping mall and food court. Across the street are the gates to Chinatown. I had some delicious hand-pulled beef noodles at Chinatown Noodle King

This is a very convenient market to get to and has more generous hours than many of the other markets making it a good spot for midweek shopping
